A selected real-world process is to be made more transparent through the use of digital tools in order to better measure the processing time of individual steps and their current status. At present, only employees directly involved in the process have insight into its current state, which often requires additional personal coordination. Through comprehensive process analysis and simulation, potential improvements in a practically relevant logistics process are to be identified. Furthermore, a concept will be developed that uses suitable real-time instruments to provide both internal and external stakeholders with information about the current process step and its processing time. Different visualization methods will be evaluated, and concrete implementation recommendations will be derived. This thesis is conducted in close cooperation with a logistics company from practical operations.
